You guys, I’m a super well rounded individual. I’m multifaceted, there are so many layers to me.... So when the group chat with my friends gets going mid week and we are trying to make plans to get together this weekend. I don't go for the obvious dinner and drinks suggestion.
Cause it’s not all about drinking to much wine, having a shot or 2 and staying out to way to late, ok? I suggest Saturday morning spin and brunch, like a grown up.
This also may have been my suggestion cause its Wednesday I’m still on board with my meal plan and feeling healthy AF! But now its Friday afternoon, I’m starting to spiral, and I can't eat anymore broccoli. My sugar addiction is getting the best of me and I need a quick fix... and I need it in liquid form!
Hey happy hour! It’s me again, let the games begin! Bring on the half price bottle of wine. Oh a couple more people joined? Well one more bottle then. Oh, it’s that guys birthday 3 tables down... well we should have a shot with him. But guys I have spin in the morning so I should probably go after this one. But I’m having such a lovely time... so one more glass, 9oz duh!
Saturday morning, didn't anticipate being this hungover when I signed up for this spin class. So now its strategy time. I may have done this once or twice before so not to brag but I’m kinda of hungover spin pro! Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1- DO NOT EAT ANYTHING prior to class! This is a must. You have to ride this still slightly drunk thing out. Eating will only dull the drunk and heighten the nausea.
Step 2- ALL THE COFFEE!! Venti, Trenti, triple expresso please. Caffeine is your best friend. Even go early morning red bull if necessary.
Step 3- FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT. It’s not gonna help complaining or whining to your friends. better to just act like you feel great and there is no place you’d rather be. Maybe this will trick you body into believing it.
Step 4- JUST KEEP SPINNING. Tracks 1 and 2 equal death, deal with it! Once the sweat starts going and the booze starts exiting the premises of your body it starts getting better.
Step 5- ALL BETTER. Just kidding, you might have another quick thought of hurling around the second to last track. But you won’t, I promise (I actually can't promise that, but try to refrain)!
Step 6- EAT ALL THE FOOD. Your feeling better now! You sweat it out and earned some carbs so go to town!
Step 7- NAPPPP!!! Its a must. Just give in a do it. An hour later you will wake up like "lets do it again tonight!"
